The Sasha McCandless thrillers are my favorite books by MELISSA Miller! I own and have read every one of the books in this series.I'm rooting for Sasha in all she takes on and I adore Leo and the twins and Hank and his litter of kids.
The storylines are always fantastic, smart, fast-paced, clever, new and unique.
The author writes beautifully (grammar-wise, punctuation and structure). Miller does not use profanity, does not make graphic sex a part of her story and the violence is not overstated or disgusting in any way.
In short, I LOVE ❤️ her books, her manner of writing, her characters and the endings. Would I recommend her? YES!

I love all the characters in this series because these books are so well written, there's not a false note anywhere. Adaptation to life's inherent changes is handled well and with humor. Leo, Sasha, Maya, Will, etc. to include toddler twins are note perfect as is the nearly anonymous antagonist. I hope the anger management practitioners take note that they are not infallible. This book is a lot of fun and as with its predecessors, I read it straight through. If you have tasks you want to procrastinate doing, start reading this book.
I love Sasha's legal thrillers and this one was great. Finished it in one evening, it was so exciting. This was Ms Miller's 10th book in this series so would recommend all interested readers read her earlier books in this series for better familiarity with the characters but if you love mystery, thrillers and suspense you will love this entire series of legal misadventures Sasha managed to get into. 5 stars given because I loved the book.
Started off with database reference for a business and this was initially uninteresting for this reader. But as soon as Shasha and family and friends got involved it really picked up. Always I like novels where I learn things and this was no exception e.g. child product safety. role of crisis management consultant, anger management course etc. It is an excellently developed plot and I look forward to more of the author's works.
I have just finished imminent peril so I have read all the Sasha McCann less books. I got the first for free and liked it so much that I got the rest. This is a excellant series. If you like mystery, proud and feisty women, good looking agents and kids and dogs and cats you will enjoy it. It follows Sasha but also her friends and family. I would recommend this series to everyone young or old. If you like a good story try one of hers.

Imminent Peril is the 10th Sasha McCandless Legal series THRILLER. Each book could be a stand alone story but don't miss out on the thrill ride from book 1, 2, etc. Melissa F. Miller's creative word building keeps the reader enthralled from page 1. Whether you set aside time to read or not, this book will keep you turning till the last page. Melissa F. Miller uses some current day, thought provoking situations to take you on a journey filled with action packed suspense. As well as thrilling twists and turns of unpredictability. Hopefully leaving one with Imminent thoughts of 'How Would or Should I React to or Handle ....?? '.
I ate up this series like bowls of buttered popcorn. The characters are interesting and easy root for...or not when they are the bad guys. I picked the first book up without knowing a thing about the characters of the author's writing style. So glad I did as read through the series in a few weeks. The main character is a feisty, petite female attorney who just can't help getting in to trouble because she is principled and talented. So great to have a strong lead character who is a likable woman. I highly recommend this series to anyone who like a good yarn and enjoyed following an interesting character through her life, mixer and mayhem. Thanks, Melissa Miller!

Maisy has just completed a three part series about the dangers about shopping at "big consignment sales for children's toys and clothes." Several local kids had been injured by baby equipment and toys that had been recalled for things like small parts, loose straps and lead paint -- but they were never removed from the resale market. Apparently, recalls are common among baby toys...
While the ladies talk, Maisy's attention has been drawn to a "creep" at the bar. He was touching the girl seated next to him, one hand on the small of her back and one hand on her neck. She is too drunk to move, but another girl in the group grabs her arm and pulls her off the stool.

Miller cleverly weaves these storylines together and deliveries another smashing book in the series of our favourite pint-sized firecracker that is Sasha McCandless-Connelly. I was excitedly looking forward to this book release and I preordered it as soon as it was available -- I had my alarm clock set for the release time and downloaded it as soon as I could.
I love these characters, Ms. Miller paints them so vividly that you can see the story happening in your mind as you read the books -- those are my favourite types of books. The reader is entertained by just the right amount of clever twists and turns. I was completely immersed in the story from the very beginning until the last word. Like other fans, I am excitedly looking forward to the next book in the series!
