A funny, light read...perfect for summer....that is sure to bring back memories of early-teen angst from other reluctant campers! I really enjoyed reading it! (A brief but frank passage involving the main character's budding sexuality should be considered before gifting to a young person.)
This book brought back so many memories of going to church camp and the fun that I had. It is very interesting to see it from a boy's point of view. I laughed out loud several times, in fact, a couple of times I was out in public which was quite embarrasing! The author really knows how to express things so you can actually see what he is saying. I also read his short story about Lewis (I love Lewis). I think this series would be an awesome movie. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and bought a copy for my two older daughters. Having grown up with the author, it doesn't surprise me, he is such a great author. I hope he will write more books like this one.
I loved this book. I am a 48 yr old female and I laughed out loud through the whole book. It gives you a glimpse into the mind of teenage boys, not that we didn't already know what was on their mind. I hope there will be more books to come from this author.....very funny!
